Message From the President

April is here and we are so excited that we've been able to partner with the schools to get back to a fully functioning and present PTO. From the Penguin visit, to the upcoming Grand Affair (details to come ASAPO) and beloved Trivia returning next fall, we are getting things back in order- And we can't wait for you to join us! As always, thank you for your continued support, as we continue building new fundraisers and opportunities for families to be involved.

Funds in Action

Newport Aquarium Visits Fifth Grade

Penguins from the Newport Aquarium visited Harman's fifth graders last month. Representatives from the Newport Aquarium Wave Foundation talked about the penguins' adaptations, behaviors, role in the environment, and more. The visit tied in with classroom studies on ecology. The visit was made possible by the support of Harman's members and donors.

Dayton Dragons Game Fundraiser June 5

Get your tickets now for the June 5 Dragons game and support the Harman third grade in singing the National Anthem- We are so proud!!! Lawn tickets are just $14 and half of the proceeds go to the Harman PTO.

But hurry! Tickets must be purchased by May 5. Order your tickets on the PTO website.

Open PTO Meeting April 14

The next PTO meeting is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on April 14 at Wright Memorial Library. Agenda to be provided at meeting and will commence promptly at our start time.

Easy Ways to Support Your PTO

Local and national retailers make it easy to support your PTO. Here are a few ways you can raise funds for classroom programs while you shop!

DLM Good Neighbor Program

Every time you shop at DLM using your Club Card, your purchase could be credited to our PTO. Signing up is easy - but keep in mind, you need to re-enroll every year. Learn more and get registered on the DLM website.

Kroger Community Awards Program

Support Harman PTO when you shop at Kroger. Register for the Kroger Community Rewards program and select Harman School PTO as your designated organization. It's that easy!

Box Tops for Education

Download the Box Tops for Education App and start scanning your grocery receipts. It’s quick and easy to do. Also, please send in any box tops you have collected during the summer for the fall mailing. The Box Tops box is at the top of the stairs by the office.

Amazon Smiles

Amazon Smiles is an easy way to donate to Harman PTO. Simply visit the Amazon Smiles site, choose Harman PTO from the charity list, and select any item any item marked “Eligible for Amazon Smile."
